INTENSIVE COURSES

What does it mean to take an “ intensive ” course?

- It implies assuming the commitment to take a single subject per period for six weeks .

- In the Virtual Campus you will find activities for each day of the course, keep in mind that this intensive proposal involves approximately four hours of study per day .

EVALUATION REGIME FOR INTENSIVE SUBJECTS

The evaluation of subjects is carried out through two compulsory partial exams and in person.

Midterm exams are scored on a scale from 0 (zero) to 10 (ten) points.
They are not eliminatory, the grade obtained between the first and second partial exam is averaged.

1. Direct promotion (without final exam): the subject is approved if the average of the qualification of the two partial exams is 6.50 (six, fifty) or more points.
To promote the subject, no postponement can be obtained in either of the two partials.

2. Indirect promotion (with final exam): if the average of the two partial exams is between 4 (four) and 6 (six) points, a final exam is taken that must be passed with a mark of 4 points.

In the case of intensive subjects, the estimated dates for the 3 consecutive calls are:

* They should bear in mind that if the mark obtained in midterm and final exams is between 0 and 3.99 (three ninety-nine), the hundredths are always rounded down, for example 3.99 is considered 3 (three).

RECOVERY

In case of ABSENCE to a partial, they can request to take a make-up exam, which is taken after the second partial, on a date to be confirmed. Recoveries are managed 48 hours after the exam.
The ABSENCE to the exam must be JUSTIFIED with a certificate. They must upload the corresponding certificate, as an attachment in the Space "Evaluation: Activities, information, procedures of the matter" of each subject and await the acceptance or rejection of the request made.

1 - Medical certificate (for health reasons)
2 - Labor reasons (overlapping schedules)
3 - Overlapping exam timetables.

VIRTUAL REVIEW OF EXAMS

The virtual exam review is a learning instance in which you can get in touch with your exam through this virtual environment.
After having taken the partial exams, they will be able to visualize a model of the expected responses in each of the topics, in the space for each subject.
