FORMALITIES
If you have reached this section, we recommend that you take your time to read it, as it is
the one that has the most information about ALL the CBC procedures, from the documentation you have to present to register, to what you have to do when you finish it.
REGISTRATION PROCEDURE IF YOU FINISHED YOUR STUDIES IN ARGENTINA
REQUIREMENTS:
1 - A 4x4 color photo
2 - Photocopy of updated Argentine DNI or identity document of the foreigner and / or valid passport .
3 - Documentation of secondary studies (**):
- IF YOU FINISHED SECONDARY:
• A photocopy of the title or analytical certificate of secondary studies legalized by the Directorate of Titles and Plans of the UBA (Uriburu 950, Autonomous City of Buenos Aires).
• If you still do not have the degree or the analytical certificate, you must present an original certificate of the "Proof of secondary degree in process", which proves that you do not owe matters.

- IF YOU ARE IN THE LAST YEAR OF MIDDLE SCHOOL:
• Certificate of Regular Student (ORIGINAL) . In this case, the registration is provisional and is only completed by unfailingly presenting the original certificate of the "Proof of secondary degree in process" on any of the dates that will be indicated for the receipt of certificates of completion of secondary studies or validations , in the months of December, February and March. If not, the registration request will be canceled .
4 - If you work, attach proof: photocopy of AFIP certificate or computerized salary receipt. If it is in a condition of "in black" (informal), ask when registering how to enforce it for when it is the assignment of subjects, do not overlap schedules .
If you do a federated sport, activity in an NGO, church or other institution, after assigning subjects in March and if the schedules overlap, you can request a change of schedule with the proper written justification.
ATTENTION
If you have subjects approved by UBAXXI: you must declare them. Check in which instances to do it.
REGISTRATION PROCEDURE IF YOU FINISHED YOUR STUDIES IN ANOTHER COUNTRY
REQUIREMENTS:
1 - A 4x4 color photo
2 - Photocopy of updated Argentine DNI or identity document of the foreigner and / or valid passport.
3 - Documentation of secondary studies (**):
- IF YOU FINISHED SECONDARY:
• Secondary / middle degree validated by the Ministry of Education and Sports of the Argentine Republic accompanied by a photocopy of all the documentation that you have presented in the Ministry to obtain the validation.
The title must be legalized / apostilled from the country of origin by:
a.- Ministry of Education of the country of origin
b.- Argentine Consulate in your country.
Without these two procedures, they will not be able to do the procedures in Buenos Aires.
Then, once in Buenos Aires, they must revalidate it in ...
c.- Ministry of Education and Sports of the Argentine Republic
d.- UBA (Directorate of Titles and legalizations)
Instances "c" and "d" are processed with a turn previously obtained online
Both shifts, especially in the Ministry of Education, have "quotas" so I constantly enter and apply for one since they run out quickly.
ADVICE : The legalization process at the Ministry usually lasts from 20 days to 1 month approximately, so when you ask for a turn to legalize at the UBA ("d") ask for it by calculating the difference in days.
• If you still do not have the validated title, you can present the title without validating it, but remember that you have time until March to validate it, because if you don't, the registration will be canceled. (This option is only for those who enroll in the October / November period. Those who enroll in the 2nd period, which will be in February / March, must do so with the title already validated)
- IF YOU ARE IN THE LAST YEAR OF MIDDLE SCHOOL:
• Certificate of Regular Student (ORIGINAL) . In this case, the registration is provisional
It is only completed by unfailingly presenting the "Validation of the secondary / middle degree" issued by the Argentine ministry, on one of the dates that will be indicated for the receipt of certificates of completion of secondary studies or validations , in the months of December, February and March. Otherwise, the registration application will be terminated. The " Validation " must be accompanied by a photocopy of all the documentation that you have presented in the ministry to obtain the validation.

Regular student certificate
The regular student certificate for the current semester can be requested in the Student Departments of all the Venues.
Those foreign students who require proof of a Regular Student to present at the National Migration Directorate should contact the Undersecretariat of Students at the Central Headquarters of the Common Basic Cycle, located at Ramos Mejía 841 - CABA, 2nd floor from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Modification of personal data
It is processed at the Undersecretariat for Students at the Headquarters, Ramos Mejía 841, 2nd floor - CABA - from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Equivalences
It is the recognition of subjects for UNIVERSITY GRADUATES and STUDENTS who passed subjects in universities and tertiary institutions. The procedure begins at the Ticket Desk Department of the Central Headquarters of the CBC, located at Ramos Mejía 841 2nd floor - CABA -, from 10:00 to 17:00.

1- School of origin

. Photocopy of the CBC credential or application for registration to it.
>> Belonging to another university
. Application Form (provided in the Ticket Desk Department at Headquarters)
. Analytical certificate and programs of the Approved subjects legalized by:
1- University of origin
2- Directorate of Titles and Plans of the UBA
. Tariff (Payable in the Treasury, hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
. Photocopy of the CBC credential or application for registration to it.
DIRECTIONS FOR LEGALIZATION OF TITLES and PLANS:
Uriburu 950 from Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The CBC Ticketing Department will not receive applications that do not attach all the required documentation.
Regularity
To maintain your status as a regular student in the Common Basic Cycle (CBC) you must comply with the provisions established by the Superior Council of the University of Buenos Aires in resolution (CS) No. 469/98. Otherwise you can continue your studies at the CBC as a free student. Any questions about your status as a regular student should be consulted at the Department of Students at your Headquarters.
In the event that you have lost your regularity, you must complete the procedure at the Ticket Desk Department at the CBC Headquarters, located at Ramos Mejía 841 4th floor - CABA, from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
To the form that is provided or printed from here , you must attach an analytical certificate from the CBC (it is processed on the day at the Subsecretariat for Students) or a photocopy, and a proof of the reason why you have not been able to pass the subjects in the six semesters assigned when you sign up; The reasons considered may be due to work, illness, maternity, you can also attach a letter, addressed to the Director of the CBC, Prof. Jorge Ferronato, explaining your personal situation.
The process is received in the months of March, April, May and June for the second semester of the school year; and in August, September, October and November for the first quarter of each year.
The response to the procedure will be given online one day before the date of registration for subjects according to the corresponding semester (February / July).
The student who has not completed the procedure or has not been granted regularity can take courses at UBA XXI or free.
Analitical certificate
As of May 6, 2009, you can request the CBC analysis at the Subsecretariat for Students at the CBC Headquarters located at Ramos Mejía 841, 2nd floor - CABA. Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The process is not personal, but you must present the CBC Credential or DNI of the interested party. The tariff can be consulted in "Treasury Fees".
Approximately one month after the completion of the exams the subject already appears on the certificate.
Passes and simultaneity
The procedure for students belonging to faculties of the UBA begins in the faculty of origin. For students from other universities, the procedure begins at the Directorate of Degrees and Plans of the UBA (Uriburu 950).
